feelings to Khosrow, they face many obstacles in the way of being together. After 
their death, they are buried together in the same grave hoping their live story would 
be remembered forever. Nizami Ganjavi himself considered it as the sweetest story in 
the world: ―The tale of Khosrow and Shrin‖ is well known. And by truth, there is no 
sweeter story than it. 
―Leyli and Majnun‖ is the third part of Nizami Ganjavi‘s Khamsa complex 
which is the most famous poem praising love. The main characters of the story are 
Qays and Laylo who fell in love with each other becoming obsessed with each other 
later on. Layli‘s father refuses to permit his daughter to marry him because of the 
rumors about Qays having some mental unbalance and later even being called 
―Majnun (crazy)‖. Eventually, Layli gets married to another noble and soon after her 
marriage, she becomes ill and dies. Had heard of that she is dead, Majnun who flees 
the tribal camp and lives in the desert is soon found dead by her grave. His love for 
her made him be occupied with only poetry. Thus, he craved three verses of poetry on 
a rock near the grave, saying

Pass by this town, the town of Layli 
And I kiss this wall and that wall 
It‘s not Love of the town that has enraptured my heart 
But of the One who dwells within this town 
Haft Peyker (The Seven Beauties) is the fourth poem of Khamsa complex. 
Haft Peykar also known as Bahramnameh regarding the legend of the Sasasian king 
Bahram Gur is a romantic epic devoted to the Ahmadili ruler of Maragha, Ala-al-Din 
Korpe Arslan bin Aq-Sonqor. Haft Peykar involves seven tales narrating Bahram‘s 
seven brides who are dedicated to each day of the week, governed by the day‘s planet 
and bearing its emblematic color. Seven domes are also built for each one and he 
visits them in turn to feast, drink and enjoy the favors of his brides. 
Eskandar - Nameh is the fifth and the last poem which regards two great 
nobles. The poem is divide into two parts, one called ―Sharafnoma‖ and the other
