REPORTING INSTRUCTIONS

Students will report to the Commanding Officer, Marine Corps Detachment (MARDET), Fort Lee, VA, 2001 Thirty-First Street, Building 9302, Fort Lee, VA 23801-1726, NLT 2359 on the report date reflected in the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS).

During normal working hours (0730-1630 M-F) or off-duty hours (1630-0730 M-F or on weekends/holidays), students will report to the Staff Duty Officer (SDO) located on the first deck of bldg 9060 (located on Mahone Avenue, approximately 1/4 mile from bldg 9302). The SDO will provide the student further instructions.

TRANSPORTATION TO FORT LEE, VA

LOCATION: Fort Lee is located approximately 25 miles south of Richmond, Virginia, and approximately 6 miles east of Petersburg, Virginia.

BUS: The bus station that serves Fort Lee, Virginia, is in Petersburg, Virginia (100 West Washington Street, Petersburg, Virginia).

CAR: Fort Lee is located just off of I-95 in Petersburg, Virginia.

- From I-95N – Exit 50D - East Wythe Street turns into Oaklawn Boulevard; turn right, just past the entrance of the Petersburg National Battlefield (approximately 3 miles from I-95).

- From I-95S – Exit 52 from I-95S - East Wythe Street turns into Oaklawn Boulevard; turn right, just past the entrance of the Petersburg National Battlefield (approximately 3 miles from I-95).

AIRPORT USO CENTER

Due to increased military travel, the United Service Organizations now offers a USO Center in the Richmond International Airport (RIC) terminal.
