ABOUT MYSELF (MY FAMILY) 
To begin with I’d like to
 
introduce myself. My name is Victor Borisov. I 
was born on December 14, 1998. I am 17. I come from Severodvinsk, but 
now I live in Arkhangelsk. I am a first-year-student of the Northern Arctic 
Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov.
I think I’m quite easy-going and balanced. I find it easy to make friends. 
I like to be friendly to the people around me. As for my hobbies I like playing 
computer games and reading. I like going out with my friends too. Besides, I 
can play the piano and the guitar quite well. But my biggest hobby is doing 
sports. I think I am quite good at ping – pong and judo. I am also keen on 
extreme activities. I like bungee jumping. 
My family is neither big nor small. We are 4 in the family: my father, 
my mother, my sister and me. Unfortunately I have no brothers.
My father is 51. His name is Oleg. He is a fireman. His job is rather 
dangerous but very important. He needs relaxing after his work so he likes 
fishing.
My mother’s name is Vera. She is 45. She is a very good-looking 
woman. She works in a hospital. She is a nurse. And she has a lot of work 
about our house. I would say she is very good at cooking. In spite of lack of 
free time, she likes embroidering.
My sister Olga is 6 years older than me. She is 23. Her specialty is 
economics, but she doesn’t work now. Last year she gave a birth to her 
daughter Yana. And now I have a niece. She is 10 months old. My sister’s 
husband is 27. His name is Vladimir. He works at the power station in 
Archangelsk. We get very well with him. So, I feel that our family is happy.
