1. What is adjective and adverb in comparisons?
Adjectives and adverbs have two things in common. They modify a word and they can show a degree of comparison. Adjectives modify a noun or pronoun. On the other hand, adverbs modify verbs or adjectives.
2. How is an adjective used in comparison?
Comparative adjectives are used to compare one noun to another noun. In these instances, only two items are being compared. For example, someone might say that "the blue bird is angrier than the robin." Superlative adjectives are used to compare three or more nouns.
