On March 23, 2021, the international scientific and practical conference "The role of historical museums in the 
development of tourism in Uzbekistan"will be held in Shakhrisabz. 
It is planned to organize branches at the conference in the following areas: 
1. Issues of historical geography and domestic tourism. 
2. Problems of historical local lore (analysis from the point of view of tourism). 
3. Prospects for the development of tourism in Kashkadarya.
4. The role of museums in the preservation and promotion of material and cultural monuments. 
5. Use of achievements of social sciences and humanities in development of museums. 
6. New technologies for preservation of museum exhibits. 
7. Issues of open museums. 
8. Information and educational technologies and innovations in the development of museum pedagogy. 
Official languages of the conference: Uzbek, Russian, English. 
The conference is open to foreign experts, staff of museums of the Republic, representatives of universities, PHD, 
DS, students, researchers and public educators.
Conference participants are asked to submit their articles to the organizing committee by March 10, 2021. 
Article registration rules: 

The title of the article in capital and bold letters in the middle of the first page, line 2 is left blank, line 3 is the 
author's last name, first name, line 4 is the author's academic degree and title, place of work, contact phone 
number, line 5 is left blank and the text of the article from line 6 is referenced. 

The last page of the article must indicate the direction of the conference. References and sources should be given 
on the last page of the article. 

The text of the article should be written in Times New Roman and 14 printing-type size, not less than 3-4 pages, 
1.5 spacing. 

The boundaries of the page are defined as follows: 2 cm from the top and bottom, 3 cm from the left, 1.5 cm 
from the right. 

Paper and electronic versions of the article in 1 copy are provided in Word-2010 format. The file name must be 
capitalized with the author's last name. 

A fee of fifteen thousand (15,000) sums per page is paid for the publication of conference materials. Payment is 
accepted in the form of cash or plastic card transfer. The telephone number [phone] should be notified 
that the payment has been made.
