voice
 
- is the individual writing style of an author, a combination of their 
common 
usage 
of syntax, diction, punctuation, character 
development, dialogue, etc., within a given body of text (or across 
several works).Voice can be thought of in terms of the uniqueness 
of a vocal voice machine. As a trumpet has a different voice than a 
tuba or a violin has a different voice than a viola, so the words of 
one author have a different sound than the words of another.
Crime fiction 
is the literary genre that fictionalises crimes, their detection, 
criminals, and their motives. It is usually distinguished 
from mainstream fiction and other genres such as historical 
fiction or science fiction, but the boundaries are indistinct. Crime 
fiction has several subgenres, including detective fiction (such as 
thewhodunit), courtroom 
drama, hard-boiled fiction, 
and legal 
thrillers. 
Thriller 
is a genre of literature, film, videogame stories and television 
programming that uses suspense, tension, and excitement as its 
main elements Thrillers heavily stimulate the viewer's moods, 
giving them a high level of anticipation, ultra-heightened 
expectation, uncertainty, surprise, anxiety and terror. Films of this 
genre tend to beadrenaline-rushing, gritty, rousing and fast-paced. 
Postmoderni
sm 
is a late-20th-century movement in the arts, architecture, and 
criticism that was a departure from modernism. Postmodernism 
includes skepticalinterpretations 
of culture, literature, art, philosophy, history, economics, architect
ure, fiction, and literary criticism. It is often associated 
with deconstruction and post-structuralism because its usage as a

term gained significant popularity at the same time as twentieth-
century post-structural thought.
