PAFOD is a continental organization of disabled 
peoples’ organizations which constitutes 53 national 
assemblies organized within five subregional 
federations – WAFOD, SAFOD, CAFOD, EAFOD, 
NAFOD – representing West, South, Central, East 
and North Africa. Its mandate is to create a network 
of organizations for persons with disabilities across 
the continent. Through the training of leaders and 
the building of organizational capacities, PAFOD 
works toward the strengthening of human rights and 
the equalization of opportunities for persons living 
with disabilities.
