Title

Enhance quality of services in key Kosovo economic sectors through improving regulated professions’ framework and practices from a triangle approach

Overall objective

The project aims to support development of higher education regulated professions in compliance with European Directives for Regulated professions, through supporting the policy and legal framework and piloting a couple of regulated professions in the area of health.

Specific objectives

• 
  Increase the awareness about regulated professions;
  
• 
  Strengthening the professional networks in Kosovo in the field of regulated professions;
  
• 
  Strengthening the university and professional association cooperation in the regulated professions;
  
• 
  Adopting the legal framework of the regulated professions at Kosovo in line with the Professional Qualifications Directive 2005/36/ EC and Article 59 of the revised Professional Qualifications Directive – one of the 2011 Single Market Act I priorities;
  
• 
  Guidelines for regulated professions, legal base and licensing criteria for the regulated professions in Kosovo;
  
• 
  Establishment of database and list of regulated professions in Kosovo;
  
• 
  Interlinking university study programs and regulated professions-Piloting 2 regulated professions in Kosovo;
