In Shakespeare in Love, Paltrow portrays the lovely Lady Viola, who finds herself entangled in a secret romance with Will Shakespeare. In the romantic comedy, View From the Top, the actress pairs with Christina Applegate (TV’s “Up All Night”) and Kelly Preston (Jerry Maguire) as a small-town girl who gets a taste of the big time world when setting her sights on becoming a first-class flight attendant. The final two films of the collection feature Paltrow as a grieving widow (in the drama, Bounce) with Ben Affleck, and the title character in the adaptation of the classic Jane Austen novel, Emma.
