A fast-track procedure has been agreed for the approval of Pest Specific Diagnostic Standards (see 
document 18-24168 page 5).
A revised version of 
PM 7/146 Tomato brown rugose fruit virus 
and a
 
new diagnostic Standard 
PM 7/NEW Mechanical inoculation of test plants 
(see links below) for which we invite the comments 
of your experts are sent for the first stage of consultation.

The comments made on these protocols during Country Consultation will be reviewed by the drafting 
teams and the Panel on Diagnostics in 
Virology
and Phytoplasmology
at the next meeting. The version 
prepared by this Panel for final approval will then be sent to the EPPO Member Countries which will 
be able to present written formal objections within 30 days.
We would appreciate it, if you could return your comments on these Standards by 
2022-04-22 
(absolute deadline). 
We apologize for reducing slightly the consultation length to allow the review of 
comments during the meeting of the Panel in early May 2022
.
