Populations of Central Asian tortoise Agrionemys horsfieldii (gray 1844) distributed in Kashkadarya region

АННОТАЦИЯ
В статье приведена классификация морфологических признаков среднеазиатской черепахи вида Agrionemys horsfieldii (Gray 1844), распространенной в Кашкадарьинской области. Данные, представленные в статье, основаны на материалах исследований, проведенных в Кашкадарьинской области в 2019-2022 гг. Для исследования были отобраны 11 участков, включающих биогеоценозы пустынь (260-600 м над уровнем моря), предгорий (800-1500 м над уровнем моря) и гор (1800-2200 м над уровнем моря). Причина в том, что изучение морфологических изменений в результате экологической адаптации в биогеоценозах целесообразно, так как определенная экологическая среда приводит к встрече сходных особей между подвидами. Различия между морфологическими характеристиками образцов (n=204), отобранных по всему региону, затем исследовали с помощью математического моделирования фолидоза и морфологических признаков.

INTRODUCTION:
There are currently 5 subspecies of this species [Chkhikvadze V.M., et.al 2010]. They are A. h. horsfieldii (Gray, 1844), T. h. kazachstanica (Chkhikvadze, 1988), A. h. rustamovi (Chkhikvadze et al. 1990), A. h. bogdanovi (Chkhikvadze, 2008) and A. h. kuznetzovi (Chkhikvadze et al. 2009), characterized by morphological differences in the carapace. In particular, Professor Chkhikvadze V.M. according to A. h. horsfieldi (Gray, 1844) The length of the carapace is the same as the width, and the convexity of the carapace arc is well formed. In the subspecies A.h kazakhistanica (Chkhikvadze, 1988), the length of the carapace is twice as large or close to its height. In the same age subspecies A. h. horsfieldi (Gray, 1844) is larger than subspecies A.h kazakhistanica (Chkhikvadze, 1988), [Chkhikvadze V.M., 1988]. In the subspecies A. h. bogdanovi (Chkhikvadze, 2008) a flattened shape of the carapace arc can be seen [Gnetneva A.N.2020]. The study of the species in the Kashkadarya region dates back to the 50s and 60s of the last century. Research of Salihbayev H.S., Karpenko V.P., Kashkarov D.Y., Ostapenko M.M., Petrova A.A. va Pirnazarov N.E in the Karshi desert in 1963-1965 reported up to 13 tortoises per square kilometer [Karpenko V. P. and al.1967]. According to D.A. Bondarenko and E.A., Peregonsov, this species was found in the Karshi desert with an average density of 14.5 ± 3.3 ind/ha [Bondarenko D.A., Peregontsev E.A. 2017]. In the research of the Gissar State Reserve, Mirzachul, and Tashkent region, E.V. Vashetko studied this species and gave the reasons for their decline and recommendations for its listed in the Red Data Book of the Republic of Uzbekistan [Vashetko E.V. et.al 2003,2016].
