MiG-35 (according to NATO codification: “Fulcrum-F” - “fulcrum”) is the Russian perspective multi-functional light fighter of the “4 ++” generation, the characteristics of which are as close as possible to the fifth generation.
The MiG-35 multifunctional complex is designed to gain air supremacy and deliver effective attacks with precision-guided weapons at ground and surface targets from outside the enemy’s air defense zone. Flight tests began in January 2017 and will pass until the end of 2018. In 2018, it was planned to begin state trials.
