Step 4: Vote Counting and Results
1. For each position, votes will be counted, and the nominee with the
most votes wins the election.

2. In the event of a tie, the candidates with the same amount of votes will
be voted again. However this time, it will not be public, only previous SU
Executive will have the right to vote for the right person.
Step 5: Announcement and Transition
1. The election results are announced, and the newly elected executives
are introduced to the student body.
2. A transition period, typically around 3-4 months (a semester), allows
outgoing executives to assist the incoming executives in understanding
their roles and responsibilities.
This election system is designed to be both efficient and representative.
VI. Amendments
9.1 The SU Code is supremely written considering TUIT students’
environment, need, culture and traditions of the TUIT SU; all of the
stated articles in the SU Code are compulsory for all the
students-members of the SU.
Necessary changes and amendments
to the SU Code can be done only through the formal process that
will happen by the decision of the SU Board and the TUIT
Administration.
9.2 Amendment proposals are accepted only once every semester and
reviewed accordingly by the SU Board and TUIT Administration.
9.2 All proposals must be in written form and must be archived whether
ratified or rejected.
9.3 Once the SU Constitution Code is modified, everyone must be
notified about the amendments in detail via SU Media.
