minutes. No more need for patience – we can get what we want without delay.
There’s nothing wrong with indulging in these things now and then, but they’ve
created a culture of impatience. We don’t want to wait, and if we have to wait
we may lose faith in our intentions. The assumption is that things must arrive
quickly, with minimal effort. Don’t get me wrong: if you can achieve something
great at lightning speed, that’s fantastic. Just don’t be oblivious to the fact that
most things in life require effort and patience.
