Answer 1
When I was a university student, I worked as a student assistant in our school
library. I worked for about three years in the place, which started when I was a
sophomore and finished in my senior year. The job was somewhat challenging
because I was responsible for choosing certain articles from the newspaper and
placing the clippings in the periodical section. They were classified according to
the subject each carried. The physical strain was also unbearable since I also had
to sort books and lend them to the students who intended to borrow. Despite this,
I performed well in the workplace since I did not hear any complaints from our
librarian; if I had had, I wouldn’t have worked there for three years. This is a job
that I won’t forget since it has taught me time management.
Answer 2
I love reading materials that give me insights into how to live a life that pleases
not just people but also the Creator. With this in mind, I usually have Ensign
magazine in my bag for when I have free time and am idle—for instance, when I
am on public transport or waiting for a friend, I just grab and read it so that
boredom won’t strike. It is not a thick magazine, and most of the contents are
talks from general authorities in our church and testimonies of people around the
globe on the changes and healing they have received through faith. I am actually
very absorbed when reading all these pages. I don’t choose one over the rest
because from every page, I get guidance, encouragement, and challenge.
Reading the magazine is not only enjoyable; it is also enlightening. For people
like me who seek spiritual nourishment, this is a magazine worth reading.
Answer 3
I had the chance to participate in sports only in my PE class. Of the many sports
I have learned in class, bowling is the sport that I find fascinating to play. It is
always fun to play, especially when I do it with my friends. This is actually an
activity I do with them when we decide to get together. There are many places
we can play this, but we choose the one that is near our homes, even though the
facilities are not fantastic. The fun it brings me is beyond words. The laughter I
and my friends share as one misses and another makes a strike feels so good. I
have the time of my life. From these, I consider bowling my favourite sport even
if I am not good at it.
Answer 4
I wish I could choose all of them, but since the question asks me to name one,
then it would be my father. I love looking at my father’s grey hair, wrinkled face,
and hands because through these physical features of his, I realize how he has
gotten older, and then I feel the urge to make him happy. He is a man willing to
protect his children from all pain people may inflict and on me in particular. I
remember one incident when he waited for me for a long time because I arrived
home late due to a transport strike. He is also a man with extreme patience,
whom I sometimes criticize for being passive. He is slow to anger and only
reacts after consideration. If I could be born again and be a man, I would love to
be like my father.
Answer 5
Whenever I reminisce about my school days, the one thing I would say I enjoyed
is the time when our agriculture teacher told us to plant rice seedlings. Together
with my classmates, I stepped in the mud and made my way through it with
difficulty. When overcome with craziness, we would throw mud balls at each
other. Laughter would then break out upon realizing what a mess we made. It is
really hard to forget this event that once made me so happy. Happiness did not
cost anything at all in my younger years.
Answer 6
Both of them are equally important depending on your goals. If you want to be
rich and buy things to make you feel comfortable, then salary matters, but doing
something that you do not love despite the high salary is not a guarantee that you
will stay longer. Therefore, the benefit of a lucrative job is just short-term.
However, when you enjoy doing your job because it is what is in your heart, you
will be willing to do extra and perform at your best, and these are paid back in
different forms, such as satisfaction and recognition, which are some people’s
goals. Given these, I am for working for what I love because this is what I can
do best and what makes me happy and energizes me.
Answer 7
Many believe that personality has a direct influence on the type of job you may
do. So I took a personality test to find out what would be a suitable job for me.
And of the many listed, I think it was teaching. This is the type of job that I
started when I was only twelve; I taught my neighbours anything from the things
I could see around me. So this is really my interest, and I think it will still be in
the future.
Answer 8
There are many factors that make a job good. The number of work hours is one.
When you work for a short time, you have a lot of extra time to do other things
and relax. This relaxation can help you stay fit and ready for another day. After
all, it is our health that will tell us when to stop. There is no point in earning a lot
yet with your health at risk because of the demand of a job that goes with good
pay.
Answer 9
Technology has brought a lot of advantages to people in the workplace. Workers
can now finish their tasks easily and efficiently with the aid of computers and
other modern tools. With this, they can have more time to relax and get together
with colleagues without compromising productivity. This is how technology has
revolutionised the workplace and people.
Answer 10
The technology sector is already a fast-growing field, and this will remain so ten
years from now. People such as software architects, systems engineers, software
engineers, and IT analysts will more likely get employment in the future. So it
would be better for students to choose majors in engineering and technology.
