In India, Following the cessation of productive life, animals either be left in the roads 
(Large ruminants), or go for slaughter (small ruminants). The male animals especially the 
bulls are roaming here and there in the market area or filed area. They are doing nothing 
except destroying the agriculture lands and weakening the farmer economically. They are 
responsible for nuisance, cause of road accidents.
There is no availability of highly efficient standard mechanical slaughter house where 
all scientific systems are carried out during slaughter. Obviously it will increase the chance of 
improper utilization of the non edible substances like bone, skins, hooves and horns etc. 
Further the waste material of slaughter houses stomach and intestine contents, dung, animal 
matter like meat trimmings and small bones, liquid waste like blood, urine and internal fluids 
get mixed with the water. This is ultimately causing the water pollution. There is a need to 
build major slaughter houses with latest technology. In India, there are more than 1,176 
slaughterhouses, 75 modern abattoirs, still need to upgrade the old houses. India can be a 
world leader in meat export if it concern about the quality of meat production and processing
