Fresh -man International applicants must meet ALL of the following requirements: A. A student who has completed, or is expected to complete primary and secondary education at the time of application (Vocational
schools are included).
※ If a student is educated in two or more countries, total education period should be 12 years or more.
B. A non-Korean national who satisfies language proficiency requirements specified below;
(1) English Track: Business Administration, Hospitality Tourism and Food Service Management, Computer Science and Engineering,
Public Administration, Media and Communication, Music, Economics and Trade
- A person who meets at least one of the following language proficiency requirements

(2-1) Korean Track: Applying with TOPIK Score

(2-2) Korean Track: Applying with Sejong Korean Language Program Completion
- A person who has registered and completed 2 or more semesters in the Center for International Education in Sejong University,
and recommended by the head of the Center for International Education in Sejong University will meet requirement as a substitution.
(※ A recommendation letter from the head of the Center for International Education in Sejong University is required.)

※ If you meet the requirements of the TOPIK as mentioned in (2-1) you must apply with the Test of Proficiency in Korean
(TOPIK) instead of the Korean Proficiency Test at Sejong University. There may be disadvantages if you apply with 'Sejong
University Korean Language Course Completion' due to your negligence.
※ Korean track students must achieve Level 4 (Level 3 for Creative Studies, and Arts and Physical Education majors) or higher of
TOPIK before graduation.
(3) Preliminary Admission Process: The application can be submitted for preliminary admission process even the condition (2-1) is not
satisfied. However, those who are selected for the pre-admission course can re-apply and get enrolled after having fulfilled the
language requirement.
[Important notes on Preliminary Admission Process]
- Students who do not meet the language requirements will also be able to pass the evaluation for Preliminary Admission Process on
the basis of other academic skills. Students who have accepted for the preliminary admission process will be awarded a "Letter of
Preliminary Acceptance" and will not need to pay tuition fees.
- Students who have accepted for the preliminary admission process must continue studying at the International Education Center
before entering Sejong University undergraduate program, immediately after selection (afterwards, a certificate of attendance is
required)
- If the applicant wishes to be admitted to the university, he/she must meet the TOPIK requirements and apply online (re-apply) to
the same department again in the next or the following application period. Applicants must submit the "Letter of Preliminary
Acceptance", the TOPIK score sheet in accordance with the admission requirements, and the certificate of attendance at Sejong
University's International Education Center. Sejong University will submit the application fee for the re-application on students’
behalf.
- Students who meet the language requirements and wish to re-apply must ask the Office of International Affairs for exemption from
the application fee and request to re-apply before applying for the online application.
- Those who are accepted for the preliminary admission process will be required to pay the tuition at the payment period for the
re-applying semester and get enrolled for the undergraduate course.
- The preliminary admission certificate is valid only for the online application period of the next semester and the following semester,
and the eligibility for admission on the preliminary admission process will be canceled afterwards.
- Even if a preliminary accepted applicant submits TOPIK score before the registration (tuition fee payment), it is not possible to get
enrolled in that applying semester. The enrollment is possible only through re-application for the next semester or the following
semester.
- The Office of International Affairs may request additional documents such as proof of the deposit balance for the visa issuance
period at the time of re-application.
