Abstract 
The article examines the features of security threats, including from sources of internal and external hazards, as well as seismic effects on arc steel-smelting furnaces 
(DSP) used in Uzbekistan. Features come from a number of parameters and criteria of raw materials, the composition of the charge and technology, implemented in the 
particleboard and electric furnace shops. As an example, an increase in carbon and oxygen in the charge is given.
