The aim of the study is to investigate lexical translation transformation. 

The tasks of the study are: 

-  To study the translation process and approaches to translation; 

-  To explore lexical problem’s of translation; 

-  To investigate the reasons for lexical transformations; 

-  To give definitions to lexical transformations and provide examples.  

The object of the study is translations of  Khaled Hosseini’s “Kite runner”. 

The  subject  of  the  study  is  features  of  lexical  transformations  in 

translations of the novel “Kite runner” by Khaled Hosseini. 

Methods of research are:

-  Analysis of scientific works; 

-  Translation comprising method; 

-  Descriptive method. 

-  component-analyzing method 

-  Practical value of the research is a somehow influences to the evolution of 

the  theoretical  basis  of  English  language  teaching  and  the  classification  of 

specific language sources.  

-  The  research  work  consists  of  an  introduction,  two  chapters,  conclusion,  

and the list of used literature.
