In our independent homeland, every opportunity has been created for every young
generation to get an education. Increasing and developing the types of additional
education that are organized for children to spend their free time meaningfully
outside of school is one of the most pressing issues today. The role of schools in
educating the younger generation as mature professionals is invaluable. Children's
music and art schools are among them.
Among the types of musical art, group singing gives a special pleasure to the
audience with its originality, high performance culture and perfection of choral art. I
do not think that teamwork is inextricably linked with the concepts of solidarity,
friendship and brotherhood. Collective performance not only provides spiritual
nourishment to a person, but also helps to shape their culture, worldview, and human
feelings in them.
After gaining independence, various efforts have been made to restore and develop
our national values. One of the most serious issues facing us is the study of folklore
and its teaching, as well as the teaching of acquired knowledge to the younger
generation. Along with many researchers and historians, our great teachers are
contributing to this responsible work. Samples of folklore have been polished for
centuries and have survived. Folk oral art tells us about the history, way of life,
experiences and views of each people and nation.

If we talk about the role and importance of folk songs in children's choir
performance, it includes folklore genres that have been passed down by word of
mouth from ancient times to the present day. Children's folk songs, which are part of
Uzbek folklore, are distinguished by their originality and uniqueness.
If we look back to the early days of our independence, we can find examples of folk
songs performed by children’s ensembles, and these traditions continue to evolve to
this day. At a time when in recent years much attention has been paid to the
development of the art of baxshi and maqom from our national values, more and
more conditions are being created to promote the performance of children's folklore.
The largest genre of folklore is epic, in which heroism, bravery, love, human
qualities, struggles of evil and good are spoken. Folk songs are also an important
genre and glorify the life of working people, their dreams and aspirations, feelings,
love, loyalty, friendship and brotherhood. Folk songs are divided into types such as
ceremonial songs, seasonal songs, labor songs, children’s songs.
Children's folklore, in turn, consists of genres such as quick telling, riddles, fairy
tales, jumpsuits, various children's games, which vary from region to region. The
lyrics of the children’s songs are simple and easy to sing around. And at the heart of
that simplicity and simplicity lies a flawless childhood feeling. They are easy to sing
vocally and technically, and most of them have a relatively small range, as well as
repetitive - in the form of couplets.
Quick sayings help children develop mentally, develop memory and recollection, and
most importantly, have correct pronunciation skills.
Riddles and fairy tales speak of beautiful human qualities, courage, humility, and
they consist of a set of simple words. They play an important role in enriching the
mental imagination, developing alertness, alertness and independent thinking skills.
As non-traditional forms of teaching science in the organization of choir lessons, it is
possible to introduce new methods and use them purposefully, using a wide range of
examples of children's folklore genres. In developing types of voice exercises from
quick pronunciation; quizzes, brainstorming games, and mind-numbing exercises;
and on the basis of folk tales we can use it effectively in conducting short stage
performances and concert programs for children, as well as in organizing open
science lessons.

There are reworked and adapted types of folk songs, which are used effectively not
only in adult but also in children's choral performance. High knowledge and skills are
required from the choirmaster when processing children’s songs for choir or
performing works reworked by teachers. In addition, a creative approach to the work
is one of the important aspects. When choosing a work for children, first of all it is
necessary to consider the thematic relevance of the work, on the other hand, it is
necessary to pay special attention to its suitability for performance. Its melody should
captivate children and not cause discomfort in performance. While some folk songs
are replaced with new lyrics, others are enriched through free badihaguylik
(improvisation). Harmonic, homophonic-harmonic, imitative and canonical types of
polyphony are widely used in the processing of children's songs for choir. This is
especially evident in the a-chapel genre of its charm and impact.
With many years of experience and a high level of knowledge, N.S. To date,
Sharafieva has made a significant contribution to the development of choral art with
many samples of reworked folk songs, educating more than 100 students. Along with
Uzbek folk songs, fraternal nations and ethnic groups have enriched the repertoire of
the choir by arranging folk songs in a professional way. Together with the knowledge
and skills of choral performance, we will contribute to the development of choral art
by studying and teaching folk songs that embody the spirit of nationalism. Continuing
the tradition of teachers is both a debt and an obligation for us young people.
