aim: 
introducing linking words. 
tell students to look through the grammar spot.
Ask them comprehension questions:
1. What happens if you don’t use linking words between your ideas?
2. 
What kind of linking words join contrasting ideas?
establish that without linking words your ideas may not be clear and connected.

tell students to link the following sentences with appropriate linking words.
