OPEN INFORMATION SYSTEMS

"Open" information systems should include systems that have open source code, 
suggesting its additional changes for the internal goals of the customer. Systems of this type 
have a data model and file repository open for changes, as well as program code or meta-
code. 
In this case, the core of the system is a service engine, closed from outside 
modifications, engaged in executing commands in a meta-language. 
The open part of the system, respectively, is a coherent set of software modules 
describing the business environment and behavior of the system, and developed using an open 
meta-language. 
The meta-language can be both widely known and popular, such as Python [1], [2], [3] 
and written by the company-creator of this information system. 
As was said [4], the author’s study was conducted as an attempt to design a unified 
service-oriented information system using a modified architectural template CQRS [5]. 
One of the results of this design can be considered a schematic diagram of the 
integration of open source information systems using the CQRS template, shown in Fig. 1. 
The left side of the figure shows the original system. It contains some closed-translator 
core, through which it interacts with peripheral modules of the system, as well as with the 
database and file repository. 
Another important function of the kernel is the translation of the meta-language, which 
describes the subject area, into the internal language of the system and the execution of 
commands of the internal language. 
The graphical user interaction interface, the system data model and all business logic 
are described using the meta-language 
in a special module, and it can be 
modified for the internal needs of the 
customer. 
When designing the integration 
of independent systems, it was 
important that the original system 
itself remained unchanged. 
The remaining blocks of the 
scheme illustrate the scheme of a 
generalized open source system. Let's
