Responsible for operation of the PBX (telephone) department and its staff.
•
Manages the work of PBX operators.
•
Prepares reports including all sales conversions, room rates, and related financial and employee productivity
indicators.
•
Interacts with human resources staff regarding recruitment, selection, orientation, performance appraisal, and
discipline, if necessary.
•
Ensures that all hotel policies and procedures are followed.
•
Performs duties of PBX operator when staffing difficulties arise.
•
May assume manager-on-duty coverage.
