STEP 1: 
Ask the pupils to match the words and pictures.

After they have finished, say the first word in the list and ask the pupils to repeat it after you all together and in 
rows. Repeat the procedure for the rest of the words in the list.

Activity 3 Chain Drill.

Objectives: to revise superlatives; to practise the words for transport 
In this Chain Drill the pupils practise the superlatives. Tell them they can use the adjectives in the cloud when they talk 
about the transport in activity 2. The pupils‟ answers will depend on what they think about particular kinds of transport, e.g. 
some may say 
„Boats are the slowest transport‟
, while others may think that bicycles are the slowest.
