Activity 1 Listen and sing.

Objectives: to warm up by singing the song; to check homework 
STEP 1: 
Play the DVD. Ask the pupils to listen to the song and sing it. Look at Unit 12 Lesson 1 Activity 1 for the DVD 
script. 
STEP 2: 
Checking homework. The pupils can check in pairs or go round the class and work with as many pupils as 
they can. 
III. Main part
Activity 2 Agree or disagree.

Objective: to practise talking about fairy tales and characters in them 
Ask the pupils to read the statements and say if they agree or disagree and why. The opinions about some statements will 
most certainly differ. If a pupil expresses some opinion contradicting others, ask her/him to say why s/he thinks so or to 
give an example of a fairy tale proving her/ his point of view.
