STEP 1: 
Ask the pupils to listen to the song and say what this song is about. Play the DVD. 
STEP 2: 
Play the DVD again and ask them to repeat the song. 
III. Main part
Activity 2a Look at the table. Say the date of your birthday.

Objectives: to revise the ordinal numbers; to give practice in saying the date of birthday 
STEP 1: 
Ask the pupils to repeat the ordinal numbers after you in chorus. Do not forget to use „the‟ before ordinal numbers. 
STEP 2: 
Ask the pupils to look at the table and choose the day of their birthday.
