9–3. Inspection checklists
DCS, G–2 maintains an inspection checklist which is the basis for all CLP inspections within the Army. This checklist
is available in appendix C and will be updated and republished at least annually. Prior to inspections, inspectors will
coordinate with unit CLPMs to identify which portions of the checklists are not applicable to smaller sized CLPs.
9–4. Service program manager inspection of participating command’s Command Language Programs
a. The SPM will conduct inspections of participating commands and will provide at least 30 days notice of the
upcoming inspection.
b. The SPM will use the CLP checklist provided in appendix C as the basis for the inspection. Additional questions,
spot inspections, or re-inspections are authorized to adequately evaluate the participating command’s CLP.
