Conclusion:
  
The  workplace  consists  of  the  social,  physical,  and  psychological  work  environment  and 
needs to facilitate work processes on all three levels. Well-designed workplaces contribute to, among 
others, job satisfaction, job performance, stress reduction, and well-being of employees. ICT-enabled 
NWW and thereby changing organizational structure and culture result in other requirements for the 
workplace, since the workplace needs to fit with the ‘new reality’ on the work floor. However, what 
the office workplace will look like when NWW is implemented is not or barely described in literature,

much  less  the  academic  office  workplaces.  Therefore,  this  is  studied  in  the  empirical  part  of  this 
research with the use of expert interviews.
