Unit 1 Our family is big

Possible text the pupils could write for the cactus: 

This is a cactus. It is small and big. We have cactuses in deserts 

and houses. They need air, food, sun and little water to live. 

Activity 4a Look, listen and repeat. Objective: 

to introduce the new vocabulary of the lesson

 

Ask the pupils to look at the pictures and say what they are in their mother tongue. After they have recognised them 

correctly, you can have them listen and repeat after you/the DVD in chorus, rows and individually as usual. Then 

you can ask the pupils to do "Point and say'" activity in pairs.
