CURRENT ASSESSMENT OF STUDENTS IN ENGLISH LESSONS ON 
THE BASIS OF GEFR SYSTEM 
It is no secret that today the emphasis is on the system of continuing education. 
Quality education is one of the most important issues today. To ensure that the level 
of knowledge and mastery of students in accordance with state educational standards, 
the following types of control are provided: current control - the importance of this 
type of control is that it contributes to the positive formation of students' knowledge, 
skills and abilities. and the prevention of gaps that occur is important as they are 
identified. Timely monitoring will ensure that gaps in a child's education are 
gradually closed. 
Assessment of students' knowledge in each type of control and determination of 
the rating index: to be able to think, to think creatively and to draw conclusions, to 
solve problems and independent work. 
Defines a system for assessing the knowledge of students in accordance with the 
Regulations on the rating system of quality control of knowledge and determining 
their rating. The purpose of the rating system is to objectively assess the knowledge, 
skills and abilities of students in compliance with the requirements of the State 
Education Standard, to stimulate their interest in learning and to determine the rating. 
The functions of the rating system are: 
a) Students in accordance with State educational standards; 
control the level of formation of relevant knowledge, skills and abilities; 
b) ensuring that students regularly come to class in preparation for classes; 
(c) Ensuring that the principles of fairness, reliability and fair assessment are 
observed in the assessment of students' knowledge, skills and competencies; 
d) comparing the levels of knowledge, skills and abilities of students and 
creating a competitive environment in the educational process; 
e) preparation of students for the next stage of education, improvement of 
referral to the choice of profession; 
j) prevention, identification and gradual elimination of gaps in the formation of 
knowledge, skills and abilities of students; 
h) creation of the most favorable pedagogical, didactic, psychological conditions 
for the student to receive a full education; 
(i) Ensuring that students' knowledge, skills and competencies are strengthened 
and that they are supported, encouraged and inspired. 
Each educator reinforces the knowledge and skills they impart to students. The 
current assessment criteria that I would like to recommend you below can be applied 
to both traditional and non-traditional course types. To ensure that the level of 
knowledge and mastery of students in accordance with the State Educational 
Standards, the following types of control are provided: current control - in the form of

surveys, colloquiums, seminars, tests, tests of students' knowledge, skills and skills 
are monitored regularly. 
First of all, it is a great factor for the student to learn, to work independently. It 
also helps to focus the student's attention, psycho-didactic development. I've put it 
into practice, and I've found that the current CEFR assessment method helps students 
get a deeper approach to science. 
To do this, the teacher determines the maximum daily score in the CEFR 
assessment system. This score is a total score in 3 areas and is divided into 
competencies such as (writing) (reading), (speaking). And a maximum score of 1 
point is set for each competency. This will be announced to students during the 
lesson. 
If the student completes the tasks in each of the given competencies completely, 
meaningfully, without errors, the maximum score is 1 point. If the assignments are 
not completed and the work needs to be reworked, 0.5 points will be awarded on that 
competency. 
Special attention will be paid to participation in the course. At the end of the 
lesson, the student's abilities, potential and level of readiness for the lesson are 
determined and announced to the student. Such monitoring can be done on a weekly 
or monthly basis. At the end of each term, each student's total score is calculated and 
places are assigned.
