Figure 2. The basic working principle of the idea of a hash function
Here a block algorithm of symmetric encryption algorithms can be used as a hash function. If 
the cryptographic strength of the blockchain algorithm used is high, the hash function based on it 
will also be reliable. The easiest way to use the block algorithm to get the hash code is to use CBC 
encryption. In this case, the message is given as a list of blocks, the length of which is equal to the 
length of the block of the decryption algorithm. The hash value is the last encrypted block of text [4].
Currently, there are algorithms that allow faster hashing, which are designed in accordance with 
cryptographic requirements and consist of the following types. MD (Message Digest), SHA (Secoure 
Hashing Algorithm) and GOST R 3411-94 algorithms can be used to create blocks and hash data. 
The use of SHA 256 (where 256-bit encryption key length) algorithm is effective in blockchain and 
data hashing in blockchain. First, we write the mathematical model of the hash function algorithm
