during a year; (i) trip purpose.

Respondents were also asked to indicate factors that were important for them when they making

decisions about using P&R parking in Cracow among such factors as: the quality of public transport

services o

ffered, the occurrence of road congestion, the availability of parking spaces near the destination,

amount of toll, fuel price, route knowledge, road stress, and weather conditions.

The respondents could assign values from 1 to 5 (1–insignificant, 5–very significant) for each

answer. Figure

presents the average values for individual factors. The data shows that the most

important for respondents are road congestion, parking availability near their destination, and the

quality of public transport services o

ffered. However, road knowledge, road stress, and weather

conditions proved to be the least important.
