4. Research methodology 

The main purpose of this work was: 

  analysis of the P&R parking in Cracow use, 

  surveying preferences among users of the P&R parking in Cracow, 

  analysis of factors determining the P&R parking in Cracow use. 

Data  for  the  analysis  of  the  P&R  parking  in  Cracow  use  was  obtained  from  Municipal 

Infrastructure  Management  Sp.  z  o.  o.  in  Cracow.  These  data  covered  the  functioning  of  the  P&R 

parking in 2018, i.e. contained information about the hours of vehicles entering and leaving the P&R 

parking with an accuracy of one minute for each P&R parking located in Cracow and for each day in 

2018 (entry recording devices do not distinguish between the type of entering vehicle, so it is not 

possible to determine the type of an entering vehicle).
