Simple ni ishlatish mumkin. 

While I went outside, it was raining.                      

It was raining while I went outside. 

When Mike was watching TV, the phone rang.  

The phone rang when Mike was watching TV. 

 

4. O‘tgan zamonda bir vaqtning  o’zida sodir bo‘layotgan ish-harakatlarni ifodalaydi. Bunda ikkita 

Past Continuous dan qo‘shma gap hosil qilinadi, bog‘lovchi sifatida while ishlatiladi: 

The people were watching while the cowboy was riding the bull. 

Mother was making a cake while I was doing my homework. 

5. Hikoyadagi manzarani yoki muhitni tasvirlashda ishlatiladi: 

The sun was shining and the birds were singing. Tom was driving his old truck through the forest.
