Lesson 48: I like presents. 

       

The aim of the lesson: 

Educational: - to learn how to say birthday months 

Developing:  -  to  enable  pupils  to  use  the  preposition  of  time  “in”  with  months;  -  to 

enable pupils to speak and write about presents 

Sociolinguistic  competence:  -to  raise  awareness  of  the  similarities  and  differences 

between celebration of birthdays in different countries 

Linguistic  competence:  By  the  end  of  the  lesson,  pupils  will  be  able  to:  -  say  birthday 

months; - speak and write about a present.  

Equipments: textbooks, handouts, technical aids, a map of the world, a blackboard and 

a piece of chalk.
