Optional Activity 6 Play “Yes./No.” 

Objectives: to consolidate the new vocabulary 

STEP 1: Offer the pupils to repeat the names of objects again and play a game. Say that for this they first need to 

learn how to pronounce the two words “Yes” and “No”, and then practise their pronunciation in chorus and 

individually. 

STEP 2: Invite the leader to the blackboard and ask him to think of an object (for example, of a book) but not to 

tell anyone. The rest have to guess what kind of object it is and say „a pen‟, „a pencil‟, etc. 

 

Homework:  Explain to the pupils that at home they should draw lines in the first activity between the numbers 

according to their order, and draw and colour the picture in the second activity on the right hand page. Also explain that 

the pupils should say the numbers and school things.
