Procedure for consideration of laws by the Senate

The law will be introduced in the Senate after its adoption by the Legislative Chamber.

When a law is submitted to the Senate, the following must be submitted:

Resolution of the Legislative Chamber on the adoption of the law;

A law passed by the Legislative Chamber;

An explanatory letter explaining his concept of the law;

The law on amendments and additions to the legislation in connection with the adoption of the law, as well as the law on repealing the legislation;

a list of legal documents that must be amended, supplemented, repealed or adopted;

financial and economic basis for laws requiring material costs;

conclusion of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the laws providing for reduction of state revenues or increase of public expenditures, as well as amendments to the articles of the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
