the 30-year changes of climatic indicators of 
Ahangaran district revealed the following:
- Annual precipitation tends to increase 
from 1990 to 2020. The pasture lands of the district 
are mainly located in the foothills, and the average 
annual rainfall for this zone is 300-345 mm. The 
average rainfall in the district for the last 30 years 
was 300 mm, and 320 mm in the last 10 years. The

average rainfall in Ahangaran district is acceptable 
for this area;
- During 1990-2020, the average maximum 
temperature was around 21-22 °C, while the 
minimum temperature was 9-10 °C;
- In comparison with other districts of 
Tashkent region, the wind speed in Ahangaran 
district is higher than the average general speed 
of the region and lower than the wind speed of 
districts and cities in the south-western regions of 
the country;
- The average ground surface temperature 
for 30 years at 2 meters height was 3.6 °C. This 
temperature is slightly warmer for high-yielding 
plants typical of this zone, such as legumes, which 
like the humidity. 
Conclusion and recommendations.
From the above analysis of climatic indicators of 
Ahangaran district, it can be concluded that the 
average precipitation in the district is sufficient 
for pasture plants distributed in this area, but 
the average air temperature and ground surface 
temperature at 2 meters height are high for this 
zone. as a result, soil moisture is drastically 
reduced and pasture plant species that require high 
humidity are reduced. A high wind speed blows on 
small and light-grained plant seeds, and these plant 
species disappear from large and non-tree-covered 
areas under the influence of the wind.
The following recommendations are given 
to eliminate the factors that cause the degradation 
of these pastures as a result of climate change, 
and to increase the productivity of pastures and 
the efficient use of pastures, even in the current 
climatic conditions of the district.:
- Organization grazing by zoning pasture 
lands;
- Implament pasture melioration in the most 
degraded pastures in the district;
- Implement measures to cultivate pasture 
areas where pasture plant species are declining;
- Introduction Silvopasture system for 
planting of trees in the pasture area in order to 
prevent the sudden accumulation of moisture 
from the pasture surface and the disproportionate 
disappearance of plant seeds under the influence of 
wind;
- Organization of systematic use of pasture 
lands.
