Keltirilgan misollarda to my feet, on the curtain, in the saddle, in the door, in the mirror sintaktik birliklar lokativlikni ifodalashini aniqlashtirish maqsad qilib qo’yilsa, ularni adverbial elementlar here/there bilan almashtirish mumkin. Instrumentallik semani aniqlashda esa by means of, by virtue of, with the help of, with the aid of, by dent of kabilarni qo’shimcha qilish transformatsiyasi yordamida ifodalash mumkin. Lokativlikni, instrumentallikni ifodalovchi semalarni, yuqorida qayd etilgan transformatsiyalardan foydalanilganda ham, kesim vazifasida kelgan scrambled, was shown, spent, heard, saw fe’llarning ma’nosi o’zgarmaydi.

O’zbek tilida ham lokativ instrumental semalar quyidagicha ifodalanishi mumkin:

1. 
   Men Denovga mototsiklda bordim (TMO, 125).
   
2. 
   Yelkamga ketmonimni oldim (TMO, 90).
   
3. 
   Barcha paxta frontiga safarbar etiladi (SHOZ, 46).
   
4. 
   Maktabga mototsiklda olib borib, olib kelaman (TMO, 123).
   
5. 
   Biz avtobusda shahardan olis tajriba dalasiga bordik (RBAD, 158).
   
6. 
   Buzoq onasi yeliniga yopishdi (OYOKD, 108).
   

Ushbu gaplarda mototsiklda, yelkamga, frontiga, mototsiklda, avtobusda, yeliniga sintaktik birliklar lokativ semani ifodalash bilan bir qatorda instrumentallikni (vositani) ham ifodalaydi. Chunki, kesim o’rnida kelgan ish harakatining bajarilishi mototsikl yordamida, yelka tufayli, front tufayli, avtobus yordamida, yelin tufayli ijro etilganligi ko’rinib turibdi.
