SHORT SEASON COTTON

Looking at the cotton as a solar energy "converter", research workers and growers are making steady progress toward development of "short-season" production systems.

Research work, field test and limited grower experience has shown that short-season systems, with once-over harvest, have a considerable potential for reducing unit production costs.
