ANNOTATION

This textbook is intended for students and professors of the bachelor degree 5130200 - "Applied Mathematics and Computer Science". The following study manual consists of 6 modules with control questions for each topic. The following basic concepts and principles are fully given in the textbook:

  Computer graphics of geometric objects, shapes and principles of mathematical models and methods of demonstration;
  
• 
  Concept of computer graphics, its types, color models, methods of image quality improvement, contrast adjustment, noise leveling, image filtering techniques;
  
• 
  Storing digital images in computer memory, algorithm and methods of reusing and storing;
  
• 
  Color models, additive, subtractive, perceptive (RGB, CMY, CMYK, HSV), algorithms for moving from one model to another, computer-based approach to drawing;
  
• 
  Adobe Photoshop CS5 - the ability to create, manage, work in different color modes, link images, edit text, and combine palettes in raster graphics editor;
  
• 
  The ability to create a web page, design and create animations using Adobe Flash 8, basic concepts of raster and vector graphics;
  
• 
  The Corel DRAW vector graphics, PhotoShop raster graphics software, as well as Adobe Flash practical tasks are given.
  

This study manual helps young people to develop computer literacy and internet, web design and graphics, to develop their interest in computer graphics, to enrich their knowledge, skills and abilities.
