INTRODUCTION (abstract of (PhD) dissertation) 
 
The aim of the research
. The aim of this work is to study the biological and 
economic characteristics of local goats, aimed at developing an effective 
technology for their grazing in the northern regions of Karakalpakstan 
The object of the research work.
The object of research was local goats, 
their offspring, samples of wool, meat, milk, physiological and morphological 
indicators. 
The scientific novelty of the research is as follows: 
for the first time in northern Karakalpakstan, under different conditions of 
detention, productive features, constitutional types, growth, development and 
morphological indicators of goats were determined; 
scientifically grounded ways to increase the productivity of local goats with 
different content technologies; 
physiological indicators and characteristics of the viability of goats are 
determined depending on the seasons of the year; 
the influence of the «weaning-suction» method and the conditions of 
detention on the productivity of goats was established.
