Notice of Annual General Meeting
To: The Members of York West District
In accordance with Board Regulations, Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of York West District of Canadian Power and Sail Squadron will be held at Mimico Cruising Club (200 Humber Bay Park Rd. W – Gate Code 05157) on Monday May 15, 2017 at 1900, for the purposes of:

1. 
   receiving and if thought fit, approving the Reports of Officers and Committees of the District:
   
2. 
   receiving and if thought fit, approving the Financial Statements of the District for the twelve month period ending March 31, 2017, and the Report of the District Financial Review Committee, thereon;
   
3. 
   electing/appointing the Officers referred to in Board Regulations;
   
4. 
   appointment of the District Financial Review Committee;
   
5. 
   considering such further and other business as may properly come before the Meeting.
   

BE IT RESOLVED THAT
The Report of the District Nominating Committee is attached to, and forms part of this Notice. In accordance with Article 12, Section 12.1 of the Board Regulations members will be nominated as per Section 12.3. Any further nominations must be made by way of petition, in writing, signed by not less than five members of this District, of which 2 (two) must be from a Squadron other than that of the petitioner, who shall confirm the consent of their nominee to stand for election. The petition must be filed with the District Secretary not less than 2 (two) days prior to the date of the Meeting.
Attendance of Members in good standing of Canadian Power and Sail Squadron in general and of York West District in particular, I requested and encouraged.
