Annotation. This article shows that in the digital economy, an agricultural cluster is an enterprise with a multi-stage complex system of processes, starting from plowing the land and ending with sowing, care and production of finished products from raw materials. Therefore, we can recognize that today clusters are becoming the locomotive of the agricultural industry.
At the same time, opinions were expressed that the republic has created ample opportunities for the development of free economic zones and industrial clusters for cotton processing in the regions specializing in cotton production.
The purpose of the study. In this regard, the main issue is the need to improve the quality and competitiveness of products through the effective use of processing capacities in specialized regions of the republic, increase foreign exchange earnings to the country due to export orientation, create new jobs and increase the income of the population. At the same time, make proposals for the practical application of the development of free economic zones and industrial clusters for cotton processing in the regions specializing in cotton production in the republic.
Scientific novelty of the study:
1. the absence of a single regulatory legal act regulating the industry is studied, the legal status of clusters is not provided for by regulatory legal acts;
2. The lack of uniform and transparent mechanisms for the organization of clusters, criteria for their selection, as well as the allocation of land plots to them is analyzed;
