3.1 POV
Welcome back. Today it is time for our POV and for this
POV, I will tell the story in the past tense. Be sure to listen to
the verbs and learn the past tense of English. So make sure
you’re awake, be alert, stand up, jump around, turn around
whatever you taste, keep your alert and in turn to whisper
inside. So, let’s get started!
There was a beautiful cat. She was green. Her name was Lily.
Lily the cat was green. She was green. She was a strange cat.
She was odd. She lived in Chicago. She was an American cat. She was
a pupil at school. She had a problem. She did not have lots of friends.
Lily the cat had a problem. Yes, She had a very serious problem.
Her problem was she was very shy and embarrassed. Lily the cat was
not sociable. She couldn’t speak in front of people.
She got red
in front of people because she got red when she spoke in front
of people.
One day Lily was asked to go a party. Lily the cat decided to
go to the party. But she faced another problem. She did not know
what to wear. She had a lot of beautiful clothes. But Lily was too
shy to wear any of them. At last she ended up with her pink dress.
It was pretty cute. She felt comfortable in it. Lily arrived at the
ball. There were thousands of cats there. They were all in different
clothes. She stepped on the red carpet. Everybody stared at her.
She felt under a lot of pressure. Suddenly, everybody started to
talk to her. And she smiled.
She also got interested in conversing with them. She conversed
with everybody. They helped her to be sociable.
After one year,
she had a lot of friends. Actually, she had millions of friends.
Everybody liked her because she was so friendly and sociable.
Ok, that was POV in the past tense. Now we reread POV and
listen to again. But I’ll say POV in the present tense, So, make sure
you pay attention the difference between the past tense and the
present tense. This time, it will be in the present tense. Here we go.

So, that was the story in the present tense. So, see the differences
between the past tense which was the first one and now we’ve just
told the story on the present tense, and we’ll retell the story in
future tense. So notice the differences on tenses as you’re listening
carefully ,
stay in a week, deep breathe, jump around, run around
whatever taste, keep awake, keep energetic and to keep focused.
So let’s get started! Listen to the story in future again.

everybody. They will help her to be a sociable person. After one
year, she will have lots of friends. Actually, she will have millions
of friends. Everybody will like her because she will be so friendly
and sociable.
So, this is telling POV story in future tense. So now you’ve
heard the story in the past tense and present and future tense.
So, now your job is to listen toward all the tenses at least
20 times over and over, over. Get your repetition more, you repeat
listening. The better you understand it, the better you will begin
to speak properly. So, that’s the end of POV. Today listen toward
