Our University

Last year I was a pupil and I wanted to enter the University.I wanted to enter the University. That’s why I worked very hard. In Summer I succesfully passed the tests and I become a student of the Namangan State University. Now I study at the first course of the filology faculty. The main building of our University is situated in University Street. It consists of 5 floors. There are many classrooms, lecture halls, computer rooms, labarotories, library and reading-hall.you can also find a big garden, a stadium, a sports field, a sports hall, a swimming pool, shops, workshops and several canteens. There are ten faculties in our University. The biological, chemical, historicaleconomical, physical culture, Uzbek language and literature faculties are situated in the Uychi street. The pedagogical and profession education faculties are in the high street. Ther are many chairs at the University, two chairs of the foreign languages among them.Many professors and teachers work there.They conduct lectures, practical lessons and labarotory work. A lot of students study at the University. Education at our University is carried out in two stages. The students get the diploma of bachalor after the four year study. If students want to make a research work they must study at the magster department during two years.when they defend their final workat the end of the course succesfully they get the diploma of magster.

The acadimic year begins in September. It is divided into two terms. At the end of each term the students have to pass terminal examinations. They are held In February and in June. Final examination are taken at the end of studies. All the students of the University must know one foreign language. They study during three years English or German or French. That is why all the students have to pass final paper one of the foreign languages.
