There are many varieties of football, mostly with fewer players. I will talk about some of them.
Mini football
In 1958, one of the leaders of the Austrian national team, Josef Argauer brought the idea of this game from Sweden from the World Cup. There he spied on the training of the Brazilians in the hall: he became interested in mini-football. Everyone liked the game-experiment. On the territory of the former USSR mini-football appeared at the very end of the 50s.
Beach Soccer
A sport based on the rules of traditional football in 1992. The compact dimensions of the playing field (28 by 37 meters) allow players to score from almost any position, even with a direct shot from their goal. Accordingly, for the game you can see about 60 shots on the opponent's goal.

swamp football
This is a type of football popular in Scandinavia. The rules are similar to the rules of traditional football except: the game is played in a swamp; it is forbidden to change boots during the game; field size 60 x 35 meters; team: 5 players + goalkeeper; match: 2 halves of 13 minutes; the replacement of players is carried out without stopping the game. Championships have been held annually since 1989.
