The Circulatory System (Part 2) - Your circulatory system is made up of blood vessels and the muscles that help control the blood flow around your body. The main parts of it are heart, veins, capillaries, and arteries. The blood leaves the heart and goes to the aorta. When the blood leaves the aorta, it is full of oxygen. The oxygen blood travels through your body. When it comes back to the heart, it drops off carbon dioxide and picks up oxygen from your lungs.
