This article introduces the technologies of server virtualization in the 
optimization and creation of network infrastructure used in modern educational 
processes. However, for example, the problem of using a server effectively during 
the practical and laboratory sessions is a costly source of support for the 
university's IT infrastructure and management complexity. The article explains 
how modern virtualization technologies can solve this problem. 
In today's education, the computing power of modern computers has reached 
such a level that it can save a lot of money if one powerful server is able to 
transmit a single group or a large group of dedicated PCs. 
Lack of computers or lack of up-to-date educational technologies in the 
educational process underscores the quality of education, which means that 
information is not protected. 
Today, we can define the challenges facing universities and universities in 
the field of technological improvement of the information environment in higher 
education institutions: 
- Rapid deployment, start-up and replacement of new software systems; 
- fast transfer of software systems from one physical node to another; 
- The ability to measure software systems, increase and modify the number 
of hardware and software resources available to use them; 
- Rapid deployment and deployment of individual teacher platforms (IDPs) 
for university teachers, integrated into university infrastructure; 
- centralized monitoring of IDP;

- Rapid deployment and launch of individual experimental software sites for 
students, integration with university infrastructure, from maximum isolation to full 
implementation; 
- centralized monitoring of IDP status and content; 
- Minimizing the cost of purchasing and operating hardware and software: 
- Minimize the cost of all the above. 
Implementation of these technologies of virtualization is one of the 
mechanisms of solution of tasks. In practice, this means the ability to control 
multiple software systems at the same time (for example, operating systems with 
all their specific software), with each other running on one hardware system (for 
example, a physical server). The league is separated. The concept of virtualization 
is narrow, but most modern virtualization systems are in use. Virtual machine 
technology imitates hardware resources as part of software virtualization or 
provides access to hardware resources as part of hardware virtualization for fully 
isolated operating systems. This technology allows many virtual machines with 
different operating systems to operate on a single physical node from the point of 
view of the guest system and hardware environment. 
Among the advantages inherent in this technology are the following: 
- complete control of the host computer resources and processes of all guest 
machines; 
- maximum performance among all virtualization technologies; 
- insufficient demand for hardware virtualization and, consequently, a 
decline in the cost of basic computer equipment; 
- high speed and ease of movement of guest cars from one host to another; 
- high speed of guest machines; 
- Minimal amount of external memory for archiving, ease of additional 
archiving 
To sum up, virtualization technology can be very useful in education because 
first of all costs are reduced and structures are in good working order because the 
main purpose of virtualization is to use more than one physical machine using 
physical devices.
