In modern conditions, the most urgent task of education is to form a
communicative culture of students. ICT is becoming the most effective tool for
expanding the educational space of a modern school. Computer technologies are
widely used in teaching a foreign language. The specificity of the computer as a
learning tool is related to its characteristics such as complexity, versatility, and
interactivity. Interactive learning based on multimedia programs allows you to
more fully implement a whole range of methodological, didactic, pedagogical and
psychological principles, making the learning process more interesting and
creative. The ability to take into account the level of language training of students
is the basis for the implementation of the principles of individualization and
differentiated approach in training. At the same time, the principle of accessibility
is observed and the individual pace of work of each student is taken into account.
Using a computer, you can organize individual, paired, and group forms of work in
the lesson. However, keep in mind that a computer cannot replace a teacher in a
lesson. You need to carefully plan your time with your computer and use it when
you need it. The use of multimedia learning tools is a natural stage in the
development of pedagogical technologies. An important aspect of using ICT in
foreign language lessons in project activity. Multimedia presentations are actively
included in the learning process. Students use the Internet to collect material for
projects. Each child has an internal motive aimed at the cognitive activity. The task
of the teacher is to contribute in every possible way to the development of this
motive, not to let it fade away. Now there is a wide variety of modern multimedia
textbooks, where you can find enough exercises for students of all ages and
different knowledge.
One of the possibilities of using multimedia technologies in the classroom is
to prepare and conduct integrated lessons. You can conduct a foreign language
lesson in a computer class by preparing a multimedia presentation with a bright
video sequence (illustrations, video clips, sound). The teacher can prepare such a
presentation himself or instruct students to create a presentation. This presentation
can be used during various forms of lessons or as a multimedia guide for
independent work of students in preparation for the lesson. Using multimedia
presentations in lessons for developing listening skills has several advantages. One
255
of the main advantages is the ability to provide students with correct answers in
writing after completing tasks. You can ask students to write down some facts,
phrases, sentences, based on the visibility, which makes it easier for many students
to write correctly. And in the future, use these records for discussions and
monologues on the topic, as well as when performing homework.
The main purpose of teaching foreign languages is to form and develop the
communicative culture of students, teaching practical mastery of a foreign
language. The task of the teacher is to choose such teaching methods that would
allow each student to show their activity, their creativity. In recent years, the
question of using new information technologies has been raised more and more
frequently technology in high school. These are not only new technical tools but
also new forms and methods of teaching, a new approach to the learning process.
Modern pedagogical technologies such as collaborative learning, project
methodology, and the use of new technologies information technologies and
Internet resources help to implement a person-oriented approach to learning,
provide individualization and differentiation of learning taking into account the
abilities of children, their level of learning, aptitudes, etc. Currently, the
introduction of a personal computer, multimedia technology and the global
information computer network Internet affects the education system, causing
significant changes in the content and methods of teaching foreign languages. The
modern teacher faces the problem of finding a new pedagogical tool. In my
teaching work, I concluded that in modern conditions, given the large and serious
interest of students in information technology, you can use this opportunity as a
powerful tool for developing motivation in English lessons languages. When using
a computer, verbal communication activities should be considered in three aspects.
First, as a free communication of students in real-time through the use of e-mail
and information networks, that is, as an authentic dialogue in writing between
communication partners. Second, how interactive dialogue interaction of the
student with the computer, in which real communication goals are pursued, that is,
as a human-machine dialogue. Third, how do students communicate in the
classroom while working with computer training programs that act as an incentive
for communication and a means of recreating the conditions of the situation
communications?
The tasks of modernizing education cannot be solved without the optimal
implementation of information technologies in all its spheres. The use of
information technologies gives an impetus to the development of new forms and
content of traditional activities of students, which leads to their implementation at
a higher level. Working with a computer should be it is organized in such a way
that from the first lessons of the initial stage of training it becomes a powerful
psychological and pedagogical means of forming a need-motivational plan of
students ' activities, a means of maintaining and further developing their interest in
the subject being studied. Properly organized work of students with the computer
can, in particular, it will contribute to the growth of their cognitive and
communicative interest, which in turn will contribute to the activation and

expansion of opportunities for independent work of students to master the English
language, both in the classroom and outside of school hours.
